Excellent Crunchy Tacos! Smoothie was good too. Ice cream even better. Add street tacos to that and it just gets better with every new item I try. There is no reason not to visit this place. Everything was delicious and they have a huge menu. The rotating menu on the wall is a bit much, but they do have print.

WOW!! What a great place to get some DELICIOUS AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD AND SNACKS. This establishment is so clean, you can tell the staff and owners take great pride and joy in the food they make as well as customer service. I would recommend anyone who wants some great tasting food or Ice cream to check this spot out. It is definitely superior to “Taco Rico” or anything in the northland. You will be impressed and not disappointed as they have a vast menu including breakfast items drinks and more. La Monarca actually knows what they are doing behind the kitchen. Every time I come the food is consistent and made with love and care just like my abuelita (grandma) would make. P.S I usually don’t write reviews but that’s how impressed I was with the Cuban torta it is delicious🔥😋

Best authentic Mexican food in the area! The street tacos and elotes are enough to keep you coming back for more. Everything on the menu is fresh and delicious. The service is friendly and super fast! Great prices and HUGE portions. Definitely worth the money! Breakfast is served all day, which is a big plus. The restaurant itself is very clean and spacious.

I never leave reviews but I had to for this place. Absolutely delicious! We got the street tacos and the pastor is marinated to perfection, I wish I had ordered 2 more it’s so soooooo good! My boyfriend got the hard shell tacos and they’re crispy and perfect as well, the steak taco was tasty. We also got the street corn and the serving was huge, we were so happy with the portions and prices. Cannot wait to eat here again. 10/10. Please eat here! You won’t be disappointed!

I was going to order through Door Dash, but I decided to drive to the location and dine-in. I'm glad that I did. I love the look and feel of the restaurant, plus the staff were very nice. I ordered 2 crunchy tacos. My boyfriend ordered the La Monarca Burger(Angus beef patty layered with grilled onions, bacon, ham, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado and mayo). I'm not a big burger fan, but I took a bite of his burger and it was delicious ❤️🤤 My tacos were tasty and filling as well. I love supporting local small businesses, so I will definitely be returning soon. Update: I went back the next day for a couple of treats. I got the churro cheesecake which was yummy. It was nice & light, plus it wasn't overly sweet. I also had a small cup of Elotes without chili powder. It was delightful as well. La Monarca is a great addition to the Northland. Another update(Lol!) I keep going back to try new dishes. So far, I've been pleased with everything I've tried. Since my last update I've bought the La Monarca breakfast special, beef empanadas, the Texano burrito and a few smooties. The smoothies are pricey, but they are definitely worth it.

New place, just opened and everything on the menu sounded good. They have quite a bit to pick from on their extensive menu and finally there is an authentic mexican spot up north. The ice cream choices looked really good but we came for the tacos and drinks. Let me tell you the al pastor tacos were 🔥🔥. This place will definitely be a hit when word gets around of the food and cold treats they offer.
